Y6 Art
Stained Glass Windows
The children created a stained glass window each to mark the feast of Pentecost. It required steady hands and an eye for detail.
Volcanos
The children have produced their own representation of a volcano from a model set up in the classroom. After sketching out the detail in pencil, they carefully added a variety of colours in paint to produce a range of very effective outcomes.
Our Y5 Work
Canal Landscapes
The children created and designed their own canal scene, drawing inspiration from their recent trip on the Nottingham Canal.

Our Brazilian Sketches
Here are some of our recent sketches of Christ the Redeemer (Rio de Janeiro) and the Amazon rainforest. We practiced crosshatch shading and using tonal differences to create 3D effects in our work.

Our Christmas Art Day
Here are some of the photos from our fantastic art day where we created Christmas cards using pointillism art, Christmas tree decorations with wrapping paper and Christmas kites using straws and ribbons.
It was an exciting day and we were lucky to have Mrs Davison helping us for the day. Until next year… |
